About Us / TOS

1) lol who are you loser¿
Nocturnal Iridescence. From Unblack Archives and from several projects like Bozkath, Darkness Cleansed, Coldrealm, etc. I'm currently the only person involved in this label, though of course most of the credit goes to God - a living being, but one I would never call a mere "person".

2) What do artists get out of signing to you?
I put your music on the APP Bandcamp page, and release it on CD-R, unless you say otherwise. (For example, I'll soon be releasing some music for free download, without CD-R versions, as per an artist's request.) All profits made from your releases will be split 50/50 after Kunaki and Bandcamp take out their fees. So let's say that "APP" makes $5 USD from an album sale. Let's assume the Bandcamp fee would be $0.50 just for example. That would leave $4.50. You would get $2.25 and APP would get $2.25. YOU NEED PAYPAL FOR THIS. I DON'T HAVE ANY OTHER WAY OF PAYING YOU. When submitting artwork, please keep in mind that Kunaki only has single-panel inserts, NO BOOKLETS, and has specific sizes and dimensions required for album artwork. You can look at those [here]. If you can't design artwork or a band logo, I can theoretically design it for you, but that means your music will take longer to get released. I won't ask you to pay for it, but you will be required to wait, and considering "life stuff", that might take an additional month. Possibly even longer than that. There's no real time limit. So then, I very strongly encourage you to make your own artwork. Also, I offer free remastering services for your audio. Again, I very strongly encourage you to do this yourself, but in a pinch, I can help a little bit. Also, you obviously agree to give APP the rights to use music you send over, but these "rights" will only be enforced for the purposes of releasing your music, and keeping it safe from copyright infringement. You also retain rights, so if you decide to remove the music someday, just send another email, and I'll remove it for you. Or if you want to release your music on another label too, you can do that. I'm not picky. Technically, APP reserves the right to decline any music submissions for any reason, and also the right to delete music and drop artists for any reason, but this is just to protect myself, basically. I started this label to specifically help support the unblack scene because I care about it and want it to grow -- you'd have to do something EXTREMELY WEIRD for me to drop you from the label.

3) How do I get signed to your label?
My email is imperialkodnarok(AT)gmail(DOT)com. Send me the files and just tell me somehow that you're sending me the music *for the purpose of having it released on Annihilated Pentagram*, AND you agree to the terms described in question #2 above. Also, in your email, include the "password" listed elsewhere on this page, so I know you read everything. I will ignore emails that don't have the password. Note that APP is a Christian label so I'm only taking Christian releases. So then, occultists, "I tolerate Christians", "I'm a XYZ but my beliefs are influenced by Christianity" etc need not apply. And APP is focused on extreme/underground music so, unblack metal, death/black, dark ambient, noise, things like that. I'm a sarcastic, jaded, bitter person, believe me, you don't want to release your adult contemporary pop soft rock albums through Annihilated Pentagram Productions. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE LEGAL RIGHTS TO USE EVERYTHING IN YOUR FILES (ARTWORK, TEXTS, AUDIO SAMPLES, ETC) BEFORE SENDING YOUR FILES TO ME. DON'T TAKE CASTLE PICTURES FROM GOOGLE IMAGES AND SLAP YOUR LOGO ON TOP OF THEM. Just because APP is a very laid-back record label, doesn't mean I want to engage in piracy and art theft. YOU (THE PERSON/BAND SIGNING TO APP) ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR WORK. If you lie to me, you will be immediately dropped from the label and all your releases will be deleted. On the other hand, if you are a copyright holder, and discover that your art somehow slipped through the cracks and a band used your work without permission, please send an email to imperialkodnarok(AT)gmail(DOT)com and the problem will be resolved very quickly. I'm an artist, too. I don't tolerate art theft.

4) Can you tell me about your amazing record label? I can't wait to read all about its history and stuff!!!
Annihilated Pentagram Productions (APP) is an unblack metal label, and the spiritual successor (metaphorically and literally) to a mostly secular label I ran from like 2012-2013 called Draconian Star Productions. I only released 2 things through it, an EP from when Coldrealm was still a secular project (I only ever sold like 2 or 3 copies and all of them have since been bought/given back and destroyed) and a Christian single (more "sound bits" than "music") from my old project "Of This Night" called "The Storm". Maybe I'll release that single again someday. Anyway, although DSP ended around 2013 (possibly 2014?) I brought permanent closure to that label in 2020 when I released an EP on Kunaki's website (specifically Bozkath - Catacomb EP) using DSP as the label.

Annihilated Pentagram was conceived in 2015 but I decided I didn't feel like doing label stuff at that time. By the way, the pa s sw ord I mentioned in the question above, is nocturnalisacoolguylol. I had the idea to start one again in 2020 and picked up where I left off, which was... basically step one, lol, but anyway. No one else had taken the name so I just used it again. Originally the logo was going to look something more like this, but I decided I wanted something more "square" than "rectangular". I dunno, I kinda like the idea though, maybe I'll refine it and use it for something someday anyway.

The current logo, of course, being:

5) What's the meaning behind your label's logo?
The old logo was just a generic idea I had. A simple label "stamp" with a broken pentagram symbol representing the defeat of evil. The current logo has a much deeper story to it.

For my entire life, I've been interested in "spirituality". Some of the first books I read as a young child, of my own accord, were books about ghosts, "sixth senses", etc. I was raised by a... mostly Christian family, but while that had influenced some of my beliefs, I was far from an actual Christian. When I was around 12 years old, I first noticed a part of my right hand print that involved an inverted pentagram / Sigil of Lucifer. Note, I did not add this to my hand. It just appeared there naturally. At the time, I laughed it off. Either it was a silly coincidence, or possibly a sign of dark forces at work in my life, but I didn't think it was too important. As I got older though, and especially as my spirituality grew even darker and more focused on esotericism and occultism, I started to think more about the implications of this overtly evil symbol appearing in my skin. While my faith at that point was quite far from actual Christianity, and arguably even further from Scripture than the faith of most actual Satanists, I was never "a Satanist". I was against "that evil guy" (even though at the end of the day, I was unknowingly serving him through my actions anyway...) so this concerned me a fair bit. I've written other places about God giving a vision to me about Heaven, and my decision to listen to God and seek His wisdom. It took a couple years for me to fully make this transition and for this to turn into an actual "Christian faith", but in 2014, when I was just about 20, it happened, and I fully dropped all remnants of my old beliefs. A few months after this happened, I remembered the sigil on my hand, and noticed that a line had been added, clear through the middle of the sigil. Thus, the line didn't complete the pentagram, but rather, crossed it out. While spiritual and religious skeptics will never be convinced, no matter how much evidence they're presented, it's obvious what happened here. The sigil was added to my hand by the evil forces I was welcoming into my life, and it was crossed out and negated by God when I turned to Him. This symbol is what's in the APP logo. It represents both my own personal experiences, and also the aim of APP to be a voice for the Gospel to secular occultists, pagans/witches, esotericists, and others who are lost in the woods of spirituality like I once was...
