To give a brief explanation, no, I don't suddenly believe that unblack metal is "evil". Some people think this, but that's wrong. Unblack metal was the main thing that God used to save me, and I will always maintain it IS GOOD, JUST LIKE ALL OF GOD'S CREATION, and can be used as a spiritual tool for those hearts so inclined to the black metal ethos.
No, the problem is that the unblack scene is becoming lukewarm and giving itself over to heresy. Fascism and antisemitism are on the rise, and these things contradict the "first to the Jew, then to the Gentile" gospel of our Lord. A scene that was once on fire for God, and fought spiritual warfare bravely, has given itself over to political idolatry, to idle fantasy, to lies, to a refusal to confront in a meaningful way. The scene that ripped up Satanic bibles and donated profits to charities has now become a lilting, wobbling house built on sand. Artists have secret secular side projects, bands that preached openly now whisper subtly, bands that preached Christ now preach far-right politics.
In the case of the COVID pandemic, the church openly preached "putting God to the test". In the example in Scripture, Satan tells Jesus to test God by jumping from a high point of a temple, promising that Jesus would survive. In the example of COVID, Satan told the Christians to test God by needlessly exposing themselves to deadly diseases, promising that they would survive. Over a million have died, and counting. To anyone with even the most basic discernment, this is obvious work of Satan. Unfortunately, they listened to political idols instead of listening to Scripture.
The problems go beyond these few examples, but it's just a brief description of the problem.
My instinct was to continue to fight all this, but God made it clear that this was a case where I was supposed to leave. To not "cast pearls before swine". To treat this once-great church like one treats Babylon. To escape, so as to avoid its plagues and punishment.
I understand that not everybody may have the same calling I have. Still, it's a clear thing that God put into my heart, so I encourage you to pray about it. You may well be a true and firm Christian, but be called to remain in this community. I really don't know. If you're a lukewarm far-right patriot, and wish to tell me I'm wrong, then understand: you aren't saying I'm wrong. You're saying God is wrong, because it's God who told all this to me. You are swine and no more pearls will be cast before you.

God, save those once-faithful who were deceived by the so-called church. (Cardiac Rupture, Iustus Ira, Uzkost, Light Shall Prevail, Flaskavsae, the list goes on...)
